This modern reproduction horse pistol is an excellent condition, cased, presentation .44 caliber Colt Walker six-shot revolver produced by the A. Uberti Company in Italy. The revolver comes housed in a very fine blonde-wood, modern two-piece, lockable, hinged box fitted with a large brass powder flask, a brass-mounted bullet mold, and a combination tool wrench. Interior box is custom-molded to fit the individual handgun and accoutrements and covered in a vibrant green velvet material. Box interior also exhibits two small inner compartments, one for the lock key, and one for lead bullets, not included. The large, heavy revolver retains almost all of its bluing and shows fine case colors on the frame, and the loading lever.
Frame top facet is stamped “ADDRESS CIMARRON, FREDERICKSBURG, TEXAS” while the frame’s right side is stamped with “US / 1847” directly above the wedge. Cylinder is profusely engraved with the Cavalry and Indian fight scene. All matching serial numbers. Has the square-back brass trigger guard. Varnished walnut grips are mint and show no cartouche. Brass flask embossed on both sides with the military motif of flags, cannon, drums, and lances, etc. No stampings, dents, depressions or seam separations. Brass handled bullet mold, with its top sprue cutter, has one cavity for a .44 caliber conical bullet and is not marked. “P” shaped revolver tool excellent. A fine, handsome, cased, modern replica Colt .44 Walker revolver.
