Blade is in good condition. True edge has no nicks. Finish is worn slightly in scattered spots. Iron counterguard is marked “KA-BAR” and “USN MK2.” Stampings are nice and deep. Leather grip shows some age. Pommel is dark. Gray plastic scabbard has gray woven frog. Iron throat is marked on front “USN MK2” in two lines while the opposite side has “NORD-8114, B. M. Co. 1/3 VP” in two lines. Scabbard shows some moderate wear and much dirt from storage. Iron throat and snap tips discolored slightly.
