Excellent condition “Ike” jacket made by the Herman D. Oritsky Co dated June 9, 1944 with a pattern date of May 10, 1944. The size is 36 regular. Exterior is in first rate condition with no moth holes of any kind and with all the buttons present. Each sleeve has Tech-Sergeant chevrons of green on a dark blue backing. Left shoulder has 100th Infantry Division patch while the left cuff has 3 overseas bars and 1 hash mark. Right cuff has Military Unit Citation wreath. Above the right pocket is a “Ruptured Duck” discharge patch. All the uniform needs to complete it are a pair of collar discs. Interior lining is excellent with both pockets and a Philadelphia Quartermaster Depot tag. Ink laundry mark in neck reads “I 9574”. There is also an inked “8” in the center of the collar.
The 100th Division began combat in France on 1 November 1944 and is credited with 3 campaigns. They are RHINELAND, ARDENNES-ALSACE and CENTRAL EUROPE. The Division suffered 12,215 casualties in those three campaigns.
