Offered is a 98K service rifle manufactured by Mauser-Ag, Oberndorf am Neckar. Principle markings are “bfy” (manufacturer’s code), “44” (date of manufacture), “18606a” (serial number) and “Mod 98” (Model 1898 rifle). It is also marked with an eagle over “135” and eagle over “WaA135” (military acceptance stamps). The rifle is NRA excellent, fully functioning and all serial numbers match. The 7.92 mm bolt action Karabiner 98K was the standard German service rifle of WW2.
