This is a commercially manufactured version of the Army’s B-4 flight bag. There is no nomenclature tag so we assume it to be commercially made and not issued. The bag is in good condition overall. The only drawback to the bag is that the leather handle and top leather strap show some moderate wear. Also, instead of being held closed by a zipper the bag is held closed by a large roller buckle. This buckle has broken off but it is present with the item. One side has a large pocket with a zipper marked “TALON”. The opposite side has a large and a small pocket. The large pocket has a “CONMAR” zipper while the larger one is “TALON.” There are two large zippers inside that are also marked “TALON.” All the zippers work. There is a leather nameplate attached to one side with the owner’s initials and serial number.
