Steel pot only. Body is painted Coast Guard blue. Has anti-magnetic stainless steel rim that was introduced in December of 1942. Initials “RCR” on rear in white paint. Swivel bale with chinstrap. Surface rust on the inside. The Coast Guard supplied the drivers for landing vehicles in an invasion such as D-Day.
