Helmet is in fair to good condition. Exterior is painted a dark apple green with four camouflage panels that have heavy black borders as is commonly seen. There are some minor areas of light pitting and chipping scattered throughout along with very minor scattered surface rust. There are no dings or dents in the helmet body.

Interior has only one of the three liner pads but the entire metal liner ring is present. The leather chinstrap is gone and only one of the chinstrap anchors remains. Helmet is stenciled with the number “64” in black paint next to on of the chinstrap studs. Helmet is also marked with an “ET” for the maker Eisenhuttenwerke Factory.

Lining ring shows some surface rust as does the interior crown.    [ad]  [ph:L]
