OD Green canvas belt is in near unissued condition.
Belt has five pockets on each side with the lower portion of the front right pocket being stenciled “U.S.”
Each of the pockets has a pointed outer flap that close by means of a fastener that is marked “STAR PULL.” Each of the pockets has an inner snap-down strap that helps to hold the loaded ammunition clip in place.
All ten pockets contain full stripper clips with ammunition for the M-1 rifle. The few rounds that have been checked have head stamps with a 43 date.
The inside of the belt has a worn maker’s mark over 1943.
The blackened buckle shows very minor wear. [ad] [ph:L]
