This is a WW1 French Adrian helmet with an Infantry insignia. Blue-gray color. No liner. Bullet entered the right side and never came out. Old tag from the Robert Jones collection says “picked up 1923 fort Vaux, Verdun Battlefield”. From the Jarrett Museum of World War History.
