American made US Model 1917 helmet with an OD painted exterior with sand finish. Exterior shows little wear. Helmet has no dents or rust spots.
Interior is in very nice condition with a complete liner and leather chinstrap. Chinstrap has a 4.00 inch area of material missing along one edge. This appears to be from rodent nibbling. Chinstrap is still strong.
Both chinstrap keepers are present and attached to the helmet with round rivets. Minor amount of fine dirt on in the interior.
Very attractive helmet that will display well. [ad]
