Standard issue WW1 gas mask and carrying bag.
Khaki bag and strap is in good condition. Flap of bag is marked with a large number “4” with another number “954984” stamped on the body of the bag. Flap is held closed by two lift-dot closures. The underside of the flap is marked “S-18-21” and again we find the number “954984.” The string used to tie the bag around the body is present. Bag carrying strap is present and in good condition.
Inside the bag is complete mask with hose and yellow canister. Also present is a blank issue card and small tin of anti-dim cloth for the mask lenses. Mask is slightly stiff but otherwise good. [ad]
