Helmet is in good condition. Exterior appears to have been painted a dark apple green but has worn in many places and now mixes with a dark patina. Some minor areas of light pitting are scattered throughout along with light surface rust. There are no dings or dents in the helmet body.
Interior has all three liner pad shells with ears but there is no drawstring in the crown and the actual pads are missing. The leather chinstrap is gone and only one of the chinstrap anchors remains.
Helmet displays well and would be a nice addition to any World War One collection.
