Nice condition World War Two German Army helmet with a single decal on the left side.
This rolled edge helmet body retains 95% of the original paint with only some minor scratches and discoloration from use and storage. There are also a few stray spots of white paint. The paint finish is smooth to the touch. The three liner rivets are present and each side has a vent-hole cast as part of the helmet. The left side has the Army eagle and swastika decal. This decal is 95% intact with only light scratches.
The interior of the helmet has a light brown leather liner with eight tongues at the top but no drawstring. The liner is worn along the bottom edge and all eight show wear. There is no chinstrap but the anchors are there. The helmet is marked on the inside left edge with the maker and size “EF64.” This stamp shows that the helmet was made by the Emaillerwerk AG, Fulda and is a size 64 centimeters. The inside back edge is stamped with the lot number “9810.” There is no marking in the crown.
This is a nice example of the standard World War Two German Army helmet.
