Early Luftwaffe Sword. Paul Weyersberg, sword and wreath within double-oval TM. Silver-plated hilt fittings show heavy surface wear with areas of loss of plating to background of the pommel and crossguard. Pommel is bent with a push on one side. Blue leather grip shows wear and numerous nips to leather but, no major rips or tears and is complete with double-twisted wire-wrap. Plated blade grades factory new except for the area near the crossguard. Blue leather blade buffer pad is missing. Blue leather covered scabbard shell matches the color of the grip and shows some minor age to leather with dents. Sword does not go into the last one- half inch of the scabbard. Silver-plated, upper and lower scabbard fittings show wear/age patina matching the hilt fittings. The integral, blue leather hanger grading is present. Nice, early marked Luftwaffe sword.
