The title is “PICTORIAL AND HISTORICAL RECORD: UNITED STATES TEMPORARY MILITARY CEMETERIES EUROPEAN THEATER AREA.” This book gives very short information on American Military Cemeteries in France, Belgium, The Netherlands, England, Ireland, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Sweden and the Azores. All together the book covers 37 individual cemeteries giving location, how many graves there are in each, when the cemetery was established and what Division or Army most of the men buried there were from. There are also 4 or 5 photos of each cemetery. The title page has a woman’s name written on it and notes that altogether there were 141,287 graves combined in all the cemeteries listed. This booklet was published by the American Graves Registration Command between 1945 and 947. Green and gold paper covers show some light wear but overall the book is in good condition.
