Very nice white silk handkerchief with full-color US flags around the border.

Done in blue ink at center are two large crossed US flags surmounted by “GREETINGS FROM THE CAMP.”

Beneath the crossed flags at center, is a floral wreath frame that reads “REMEMBER ME.” The frame is flanked by two medallions. The one on the left has a bust portrait of a World War One US soldier while the medallion on the right shows a young girl waving goodbye and holding roses in her arms. The medallion of the soldier is superimposed over a cannon with a stack of cannon balls while that of the girl is superimposed over a spray of flowers.

At bottom center is a riband that reads “SWEET BE TO THEE LIFE’S PASSING HOURS. AND ALL THY PATH BE DECKED WITH FLOWERS.”

Item is in excellent condition but for some fold lines that can easily be ironed out. Would look wonderful framed.  [ad] [ph:L]
