This small lot contains an Iron Cross 2nd Class complete with the ribbon.
Medal shows wear around the edges. Obverse has a swastika at center and the year “1939” at bottom while the reverse has the date “1813.”
Red, white and black ribbon is in good condition but does show moderate surface dirt.
With the medal is a 2.25 x 3.00 snapshot of a young German soldier wearing the ribbon for the Iron Cross 2nd Class in his buttonhole. The back of the image has a period pencil ID that reads “SIEGFRIED MOSER, GRAZ-SUD, WAGRAM 113, STEIERMARK, GERMANY.” [ad][ph:L]
