WORLD WAR TWO GERMAN ARMY TINNIE

$35.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 2022-254

"Tinnie" is the common term for a commemorative medal made from a non-precious metal such as zinc or tin (or even plastic) and with provisions for being attached to a garment and displayed while worn. The Nazi Government issued many different tinnies to commemorate various occasions.

Item is formed from plastic rather than zinc or tin. It is formed in the shape of a bust of a German soldier wearing a helmet with an Army eagle. Across the bottom of the bust is a oak leaf branch. Some of the silver finish has worn off the high areas.

Original pin is on the reverse.    [ad] [ph:L]
