"Tinnie" is the common term for a commemorative medal made from a non-precious metal such as zinc or tin (or even plastic) and with provisions for being attached to a garment and displayed while worn. The Nazi Government issued many different tinnies to commemorate various occasions.

Tin is circular with a large spread-winged eagle and swastika overshadowing the Aachen city skyline. Bottom reads “1937 KREISTAG AACHEN STADT LAND” or “1937 COUNTY ASSEMBLY FOR AACHEN CITY AREA.”
