Item consists of a heavy black marble base that meas. approx. 6.00 x 3.00 x 0.50 inches. The bottom surface is covered with green felt.
Attached to the top of the marble is a brass spread-winged eagle perched on a rock holding an Iron Cross in its beak. The eagle has a 6.00 inch wing span. The front of the Iron Cross has the correct crown “W” and “1914” while the back is blank.
The piece is in excellent condition however there is a very small casting flaw on the top of the eagles head.
There is no maker or artist mark. [ad]
