Brown leather calf length boots. The leather is pliable and strong overall. The surface shows light to moderate scuffing. The only opening in the leather is a 3.00 inch long seam split on the back seam of the left boot.
Boots have original laces on the front. The left lace has one short section of lace missing at top, right boot is fine. Both boots have the original lacing on the outside edge of the calf at top. Both boots have the original bed ticking pulls inside.
Soles look to be original and are sewn. Soles and heels show wear from use. The corner of one heel is slightly chipped.
These boots would work well with any WW1 ground or air service display. [AD]
