In this group six of the stamps show signs of cancelation marks while the rest look unused.

18 of the stamps show an eagle and swastika on a brown background in a white oval surrounded by the words “Zulassungmarke Deutsche feldpost” or Registration Mark German Post Office.” This 1942 MQ1 (brown) stamp was the basic parcel stamp for the German soldier. He could use it to send one ½ pound package.

Two of the stamps show a knight holding his sword in front of him with the point down with a swastika on his chest. This is a 1940 stamp for May Day showing giant armed warrior protecting Germany represented by a peaceful farming scene.

One stamp shows a Postal Carriage and driver with ‘TAG DER BRIEE MARK 1943” or “1943 Stamp Day.”

One stamp shows Hitler bending over to pat a child on the cheek and bears the date “20 APRIL 1940.” This stamp commemorates Hitler’s birthday and has the famous photo of Hitler with a little girl giving him flowers. Used as propaganda by the Nazis as were many photos of Hitler with children and mothers.   Has cancellation mark.

The next stamp shows a large four engine aircraft flying over a building and car and is marked “1919 Deutscher Luftpostdienst 1944 / Grossdeutsches Reich” or “1919 German Air Mail Service/Greater German Reich.”

The next stamp commemorates the Munich "Putsch.” This stamp marks the Nov. 9, 1923 coup where Hitler eliminated his opposition. This stamp shows an SA (Brown Shirt) soldier and the Nazi flag in front of the Feldherrnhalle in Munich. 1935. Cancellation marks visible.

Another stamp in the group shows President Hindenburg’s face in left profile. Stamp is used and has a cancellation mark.

Two stamps are from 1944 and show two different Lufthansa aircraft.

One stamp shows an aircraft in flight. This is the 1936 stamp marking the 10th anniversary of Lufthansa. It depicts a Henkel 70 "Lightning. Cancellation mark visible.

Hindenburg stamp. The 1936 Airmail stamp shows LZ 129, The Hindenburg, over a German valley and was issued for its first North America flight. Cancellation marks visible.

Stamp showing two men meeting in friendship under a swastika flag. This stamp was issued by Germany in 1938 to mark the taking of Austria in a bloodless coup. Named the Anschluss, the move incorporated Austria into Greater Germany.

Another stamp shows a young man’s head with eyes closed with a steel helmet and oak leaves behind him. This is the 1942 Heroes Memorial day stamp.

The last stamp in the group shows a young boy and girl in front of a Hitler Youth flag. This is the 1943 "Youth Obligation" Day stamp when all German children had to take an oath to Hitler.
