Known as a “DEUTSCHES REICH KENNKARTE” this identity card is made of white oilcloth.
This identity card is for Agathe Stutz who was from Stuttgart and was born May 23, 1891. Her card was issued to her on July 8, 1942 in Stuttgart and is stamped by the Police. The card was good for five years.
The card also shows that Agathe was employed as a factory worker with no unusual characteristics noted. Right inside of the card bears her photograph and finger prints.
Introduced in 1938 the Kennkarte was mandatory for all persons over 15 years of age living in Germany.
Card is in very nice condition with dark ink entries. Surface only show light wear and surface dirt from age and storage. [ad]
