This booklet tells us that its owner was 13 year old Rudolph Sifnerzkoph who was born on June 12, 1926. He joined “Die Deutsche Arbeitsfront” or German Workers Front (aka. D. A. F for short) on April 1, 1940. He paid reduced dues for 1940 and 41 while a member of the Hitler Youth.

Each month when he paid his dues a stamp was glued into the appropriate page in this booklet. The stamps show that he paid Hitler Youth dues from April of 1940 through September of 1941 when he began paying regular dues. His payments stop around November of 1943.

The first page of the booklet bears the D. A. F. stamp along with Rudolph’s full name and birthdate filled in with ink.

Book is in overall good condition.

The Workers Front was originally founded in 1933 and became an official Nazi organization in 1934. Its stated purpose was to educate all workers in industry and commerce for smooth and efficient operation of all Third Reich labor. The organizations goal was to provide political stability for a massive work force.
