LOT OF WORLD WAR ONE SOUVENIRS

$100.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 817-06

This small group of World War One souvenirs consists of an early or pre-war brass belt buckle with an applied stamped brass disc with a crown at center surrounded by the words “GOTT MIT UNS” and a laurel wreath. The reverse has the iron keeper and two pronged adjustment buckle. The plate does show some light wear and has been lightly cleaned.

The second item in the group is a brass cigarette case with a hinged lid that has the same brass plate as that described on the buckle above. The lid is hinged and opens to reveal a holder for matches or rolling papers. This inner holder is also hinged and can be lifted to expose the cigarette compartment. All hinges operate well but the surfaces show moderate wear.

The last item in the group is a brass holder for a small box of matches. This also has the crown and motto brass plate attached to match the other two pieces. This piece shows light wear consistent with the rest of the group.

Nice little lot of World War One items.
