Top bar is stamped brass with scrollwork design and GAR at center front with pin on back. Suspended from top bar is a 6.00 inch red ribbon with gold lettering. Bottom has one horizontal strand of bullion with bullion tassels at very bottom. Gold lettering on ribbon reads “TWENTY FOURTH NATIONAL ENCAMPMENT, POST 10, WORCESTER, MASS.” Ribbon is decorated with a spreadwinged eagle and the town of Worcester crest. Very nice, clean condition ribbon.
Post 10, in Worcester, Massachusetts is named after George Hull Ward, Colonel of the 15th Mass. He was killed at Gettysburg and is buried in a Worcester cemetery.
