Top of the badge has a heavy bronze spread-winged eagle perched on crossed cannons over a stack of cannonballs. Reverse still retains the original pin.
Suspended from the top is a red, white and blue striped ribbon with gold lettering that reads “DELEGATE 33RD ANNUAL ENCAMPMENT G.A.R. TOPEKA, KANSAS MAY 26-28 1914.”
Suspended from the ribbon is a heavy circular bronze drop with a celluloid center depicting the G. A. R. Memorial Building which was dedicated on May 27, 1914. The reverse of the drop has raised letters that read “ERECTED BY THE STATE OF KANSAS AS A MEMORIAL TO THE UNION SOLDIERS AND SAILORS OF THE WAR OF THE REBELLION 1861-1865.”
Ribbon shows some slight fading to the colors along with some minor stress separations at the very bottom. [ad] [ph:L]
