Bronze Abraham Lincoln commemorative medal features a profile bust of Lincoln in relief. “With Malice Toward None, With Charity For All / 1809-1909” is embossed around the top edge. In very small size “Copyright Davison’s Sons Phila.” is embossed around the bottom edge.
An olive wreath encircles the edge on the reverse side. Within the wreath is: “This medal was struck for the Grand Army of the Republic in commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the birth of Abraham Lincoln.”
Measures 3” in diameter x 3/16” thick. Nice mellow patina. [jet]
