Four piece medal has a top hangar in the shape of a spread-winged eagle perched on crossed cannons. Suspended by two chains is the second medal which reads, “REPRESENTATIVE / GAR / INDIANAPOLIS”. Third medal is silver colored and shows an image of the state seal of Indiana. Lower round medal has an image of William Ketcham. Reverse of medal reads, “55^th NATIONAL ENCAMPMENT / G.A.R. / SEPT. 25-29, 1921 / INDIANAPOLIS, IND”.

Hanging behind medals is a gold colored grosgrain ribbon. Ribbon has torn and frayed.

Measures 6” long. Brass has darkened with age but still shows original gilt in areas. Ribbon shows light surface dirt.  [sl]
