Top bar has pin on back. Face reads “36th NATIONAL ENCAMPMENT 1902.” Suspended from this top bar is a red, white and blue ribbon. At the bottom of the ribbon is a medal in the shape of a Second Corps badge that appears to have a broken stem. This is not the case. The medal is complete and was cast without a stem. There is a number “2” at center surrounded by a ribbon that reads “KIT CARSON POST WASHINGTON, D.C.”
