The top bar of this medal is made of stamped brass and has a scalloped edge decoration. The reverse still has the original pin.
Suspended from the top bar is a solid blue ribbon with silver lettering. The ribbon meas. approx. 2.75 inches long x 1.25 inches wide. The lettering reads “ASSOCIATED SOCIETY OF YEAGER POST NO. 13 G.A.R. ALLENTOWN, PA.”
Attached to the ribbon is a drop that consists of a picture on celluloid of a GAR badge. Reverse has maker’s mark.
The badge is in very nice condition with a bright clean ribbon and lettering.
