Gray ribbon with black design and lettering. Ribbon meas. approx. 8.00 inches long. Design at center is GAR membership badge. Lettering reads “LADY ASSISTANTS, GAR FAIR. STANLEY POST NO.11 GAR.” No pin on back. Bottom has slight curl.
Stanley Post #11 was located in New Britain, Connecticut. There were three members of the Stanley family from New Britain who were killed during the war. Two in the 13th Connecticut and one in the 14th Connecticut. Which one the Post was named for is not known.
