We have never encountered these before. This is a small red book that meas. approx. 5.25 inches long x 2.00 inches wide. Printed on the cover is “GETTYSBURG, PA. (SERIES B), PHOTO STAMPS, 12 SCENES-24 STAMPS.”

Inside are twenty-four stamps showing twelve different scenes. The scenes include:

The Wheatfield

Lee’s Headquarters

The Rostrum in the National Cemetery

Meade High School

The New York State Monument

General Meade’s statue

The Jennie Wade House

View of the Round Tops from Confederate Ave.

Wright Ave.

View of Hancock Ave looking toward the Round Tops

Statues of Generals Buford and Reynolds on the 1st Day’s Field

Soldiers National Cemetery

For the most part, all the stamps and the books are in good clean condition; a few books have a few missing stamps. The attached photos are representative of their general condition.

As stated above this is the first of these we have seen in all our years of business. This item was sold in the 1950’s at the Electric Map Museum that was owned and operated by the Rosensteel family.
