There is no inscription on this ribbon but all the Corps insignia of the Army of the Potomac are present. Swallow tailed white ribbon meas. approx. 7.0 inches long with blue printed design. Back of ribbon has safety pin attached. Front top of ribbon has folded, "bow tie" shaped red, white and blue ribbon. Beneath this ribbon are crossed sabers. At center of ribbon is a Maltese cross to represent the 5th Corps. The center of the Maltese cross has a Greek cross to represent the 6th Corps. Then, going clockwise around the arms of the Maltese cross we find the club of the 2nd Corps, star of the 12th Corps, shield with cannon and anchor for the 9th Corps and the diamond for the 3rd Corps. Above the top arm of the Maltese cross we find crossed cannons and below the bottom arm is the crescent moon of the 11th Corps. Ribbon is in very nice shape.
