White silk ribbon meas. approx. 2.50 inches wide x 5.75 inches long with a printed black border. Printed at center is a bust of President Lincoln inside a heavy black oval. Printed across the top is “WE LOVED HIM IN LIFE” while across the bottom is “WE MOURN HIM IN DEATH.” At the very bottom in fine script is “BORN FEB. 12, 1809- DIED APRIL 15, 1865.”

Item is in good condition but the silk has browned with age.
