Post World War Two to Vietnam era Border Troops Soviet General’s tunic. The Border Troops were a branch of the KGB.
Tunic is in good overall condition for its age. The shoulder boards are period and have the green piping denoting Border Troops and embroidered general’s star. The shoulder board buttons appear to be newer 15 Republic replacements.
The front buttons look to be original to the tunic with the top 3 being resewn. All have a nice gold surface with a light patina and all are 15 Republic style. Front buttons are back marked “MOCWTAMN.”
Tunic is priced to sell and is lower than what the shoulder boards usually sell for. [ad] [ph:L]
