This pair of high-topped boots seem to be a cross between World War Two jump boots and post-war boots.
These boots are made of a light brown leather. They are in good lightly used condition with minor wear to the uppers and almost none to the soles. These boots have no dates or size marks anywhere. There was some information stamped inside one boot only but this has worn away and cannot be read. The outside edge at the top of the boot has been checked for markings stamped into the leather but there are none. They have a full sole with a diamond pattern under the foot but the heel does have a 45 degree slant to the edge facing the toe. The sole is marked BF Goodrich while the heel is Goodyear. There is one row of stitching holding the sole to the upper. The heel cap surrounds just the heel and does not extend up the back. These boots have a hard reinforced toe cap. The cap has two rows of stitching, a line of small holes and then two more rows of stitching. Last of all these boots have 11 eyelets.
Some of the characteristics match jump boots and some do not. The boots have light colored laces which do show some dirt from age and storage.
Overall the condition is excellent. [ad] [ph:L]
