Each strap has a thick single leather border covered in gold bullion thread. This border is outlined with both an inner and outer jaceron border of dead bullion. The rank field is done in yellow wool to denote the Cavalry branch. Each field has Captain’s bars done in silver bullion thread.
The back of these straps are uncovered allowing a view of the interior.
These straps do show some moderate wear on the edges. The bullion thread in the corners is worn reveling the leather underneath. [AD]
