This is a pair of colonel of infantry shoulder straps measuring approximately 4” x 1 5/8”. These are single bordered, infantry straps. The bullion embroidered borders are in good condition with good, age appropriate tarnishing. One strap is more tarnished than the other. The blue fields still retain good color. The embroidered and sequined eagles in the center of each remain in excellent condition.
These straps each show a small amount of edge damage in the same location. Just above the eagle’s head the black edging material shows a “rub” or “chew”. This damage is very minor and does not detract from the appearance of this pair of colonel’s shoulder straps. [jet]
