This sash is a little different than most officers’ sashes of the period. The body of the sash has a repetitive design of vertical lines and sewn holes in an arrowhead pattern. Also the ends of this sash do not have acorns. It ends with some lines of vertical stitching and then the twisted tassels. The item is in very good condition with just a few minor scattered snags in the material. The width is approx. 5.50 inches and the length is 10 feet long.
