Shako plume has remained in very good condition from being stored in this japanned tin canister. Both ends have hinged lids that fully function. Brass band is around plume.

Plume measures 13" long. Canister measures 14.5" long by 1.5" in diameter. Much of the paint has worn off of canister and it shows dings and dents.    [SL]
