Here is a very nice hat cord for a U.S. Artilleryman. It measures 13 inches long including the tassels. The heavy cotton cord is ¼ inch wide and forms a double loop around the hat. The two tassels are approximately 2 ½ inches long. All the cord is tight, with no fraying, and colored artillery red. This hat cord is very attractive and would make an outstanding addition and excellent display item for an artillery or Civil War collection. [SL]
