Here is a very nice hat cord for a U.S. Infantryman. It measures 13 inches long including the tassels. The heavy cotton cord is ¼ inch wide and forms a double loop around the hat. The two tassels are approximately 2 ½ inches long. Cord is tight, with no fraying, and colored infantry blue. There is an area approx. ½” long that is an apparent repair and is wrapped in thread. This hat cord is very attractive and would make an outstanding addition and excellent display item for an infantry or Civil War collection. [SL]
