The exterior of this helmet is painted brown and has a stamped heating lot code at top of “475.” Both of the “lug nut” type air vents are present. Exterior has no dents and the original paint just shows the usual rub and scratch marks consistent with age and use.
Interior has a metal band with all three of the pillow type brown leather pads present and in good shape. One of the pads eyelets has split. Chinstrap looks to be a period replacement made out of a strip of uniform cloth.
The inside back of the skirt is faintly stamped in red ink with “F” and then “PLS” above “PPO.” [ad] [ph:L]
