This item is a gray wool blanket with black end stripes that dates from the Indian War period. The blanket meas. approx. 5’ wide x 6’ 3” long. Each of the black end stripes is approx. 2.75” wide and is positioned 6.50” from the unbound edge. The wool is in good condition with one hole near the center that meas. approx. 1” x 2.25” with a small worn area nearby. There are no visible markings of any kind.
