This British import trunk lock measures 4 inches by 3 inches by 3/4 inch. Its lock cover reads "VR / A.THOMPSON" and is rusted stuck. The trunk lock is in relic condition with heavy rust. The original digger's tag reads "Confederate artillery ammunition chest lock imported from England. Found on the Spotsylvania, Virginia Battlefield-Sept. 1975."
