Here is a very fine example of the largest size of the Confederate Gardner pattern bullet.
With typical two-groove Gardner characteristics, but in the large, and heavy .69 caliber. Nose cast with shallow cone cavity. Small air bubble hole in nose from casting. Measures 1.115” tall and .695” in diameter.
Very nice “dug” specimen with perfect white patina overall. [jet][ph:jet]
