Excavated brass fuse in very good condition. Brass fuse has nice dark patina with underlying brass showing through in places. Fuse anvil is set to be fired and there is no safety screw, but fuse and threads are in perfect condition. Patent information stamped on top is visible, “J. P. SCHENKL / PAT. OCT. 10, 1861”.
Could be screwed back into a shell in needed. [jet][ph:L]
