Two-piece brass button by “local” maker for state of Mississippi. Large central star with “I” in the middle. “MISSISSIPPI” runs around the perimeter.

Brown patina overall with faint traces of gold wash. No back mark. Straight shank. Measures 21mm. Unknown recovery location.  [jet] [ph:m/L]
