RARE CONFEDERATE 2.5” BRITTEN BOLT

$1,150.00 ON HOLD

Quantity Available: 1

Item Code: 490-7003

This 2.5” Britten projectile was used exclusively by the Confederates for their imported British Blakely rifled cannon.  This is a solid iron “bolt.” The iron displays a dark brown tone with very nice smooth surface. There is one pronounced groove near the lower end as well as a number of lesser lathe rings above and below that. There would have been a lead sabot attached to the base.

A rare, and very nice specimen.  [jet][ph:L]
